This policy is specific to the LotReach Live extension. It supplements the LotReach platform privacy policy at https://info.lotsyncpro.com/app_privacy_policy, which continues to govern your LotReach account.

1. Who we are

LotReach Live is published by LotReach (LotSync Pro). We are the controller of the limited data described in this policy.

2. What the extension does (its single purpose)

LotReach Live does one thing: it detects the lot currently selling on the live auction page you are watching and sends that lot information to your LotReach Live broadcast graphics, so the on-screen graphic updates automatically as the auctioneer moves to the next item.

It does not modify the auction page, fill in forms, post anything, or take any action on your behalf.

3. Information the extension collects

The extension only reads from the one browser tab you explicitly tell it to watch, by clicking Watch this tab. From that page it reads:

In addition, we collect:

Your connection code — the short pairing code you paste into the extension to link it to your live session. It identifies your session only; it is not your LotReach login.

Session name — the name of the live session the code is connected to, so the popup can show you what you're connected to.

Basic delivery info — whether a lot update was delivered successfully, and any error message needed to show you "Can't reach LotReach" style notices.

What the extension does not collect

Bidder names, bidder contact details, bidder registration data, or any bidder PII

Your own name, email, or LotReach login credentials

Your auction site's login cookies, passwords, or account details (see §5)

Your browsing history, the pages you visit outside the one tab you watch, or any other site's data

Search history, form entries, keystrokes, or files on your computer

Financial or payment information

Advertising identifiers, tracking pixels, or analytics cookies

4. Where the data goes

Lot information read from the watched page is sent over HTTPS to LotReach's own servers (the live-lot-update service) so your live graphics can display it. Periodically (roughly every 25 seconds) the extension sends a keep-alive with the same lot information so the broadcast knows the connection is still alive.

We do not:

Sell, rent, or trade your data

Share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing

Use your data to build profiles or for unrelated purposes

Send your data to ad networks or analytics providers

Lot data is used solely to render your live auction graphics and to keep the session connected. It is not used to train models or for product analytics.

5. Auction site access (BidWrangler, Auctioneer Software, and other platforms)

On auction sites (including white-labeled domains), the extension reads the lot the auctioneer has active by calling that auction site's own listing interface, using the session you already have open in your browser. This means the request carries your existing signed-in session on that auction site only, and the response is read locally in your browser. Only the lot fields listed in §3 are then sent to LotReach. No credentials, cookies, or account data are transmitted to LotReach.

On other supported auction platforms, the extension reads only the visible lot information on the page you are watching.

Site access you grant:

The extension ships with access to its own service and to supported auction domains. When you click Watch this tab on an auction site that isn't already covered, Chrome asks you to approve access to that specific site so the extension keeps working after page reloads. You can revoke that access at any time in chrome://extensions → LotReach Live → Details → Site access.

6. Data stored on your computer

The extension stores the following in Chrome's local storage, on your own machine:

Your connection code and the session name it's connected to

Which tab is being watched

The last lot it read, and the time it was sent

The most recent error message, if any

This data never leaves your machine except as described in §4. Clicking Stop watching clears the watched-tab and lot information. You can clear everything at any time by removing the extension, or by clearing your browser's extension storage.

7. Data retention

On your computer: until you stop watching, clear storage, or remove the extension.

On our servers: lot updates are kept for the duration of the live session and a short period afterward so the broadcast overlay and recordings can display them. Live session records are deleted when the session is deleted.

8. Security

All transmission uses HTTPS.

A lot update is only accepted when it carries a valid connection code for an active session, so other people cannot inject lots into your broadcast.

The extension contains no remotely hosted or remotely executable code; all of its logic ships inside the packaged extension.

The extension does not request or store your auction site passwords.

9. Google Chrome Web Store "Limited Use" disclosure

We use data collected by the extension only for the following permitted purposes:

Provision of Services — delivering the lot information you asked us to display in your live graphics.

Account Management — validating your connection code so the extension links to the correct live session.

Logging & Debugging — showing you delivery errors and diagnosing connection problems.

We do not use this data for advertising, personalization, resale, or any purpose beyond those listed.

None of this data is sold or shared with third parties, and none is used for advertising.

11. Children

LotReach Live is a business tool for professional auctioneers and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

12. Changes to this policy

If we materially change what the extension collects or how it's used, we'll update this page, raise the version number of the extension, and note the change in the store listing. Continued use of the extension after those changes means you accept the updated policy.
